1.   Department of Computer Engineering, Istanbul Technical University seeks qualified candidates for an Assistant Professor (Dr. Ogr. Üyesi) position. Particular emphasis will be placed on candidates with a background in one or more of the following areas: 
  • Theory of Computation
  • Graph Theory
  • Scientific Computing, Computer Graphics
  • Computer Communications and Operating Systems
  • Data Structures and Algorithms
The candidates are expected to have a prominent research record with publications in distinguished journals and conferences in their field. The ideal applicant should be able to teach undergraduate and graduate level courses in his/her field as well as the core courses in the undergraduate program of the department. 

Candidates of Turkish nationality are expected to have a record of work (at a university, research institute etc.) for at least one year abroad after PhD.

Foreign (non Turkish citizens) candidates will receive a competitive salary depending on their qualifications.

2.   Istanbul Technical University, Faculty of Computer and Informatics invites applications for a full-time faculty position at the level of assistant professor in the machine learning theory field. The candidates should have a strong research record on machine learning theory. Candidates with Post-doc experience and/or industrial experience will be preferred.
The position is open for Turkish citizens, and the applications will be evaluated in the Fall 2017 term.
